Run's mission is to make AI practical, not another wave of hype. We consolidate the AI functionality people actually reach for into one agentic workspace, instead of a shelf of disconnected AI apps and subscriptions.

Run runs on open-source and open-weight models by design, not as a cost-cutting afterthought. That choice is how we protect privacy, keep performance high, and keep costs honest.

Our long-term goal is to store as close to zero data within Run as possible, and to give users the ability to export or reclaim their own logs and records at any time. We think data ownership like this will only matter more as the AI era matures.

Run was founded in Africa, and our ambition goes beyond building another AI solution. We intend to compete on a global scale from here.

Part of that mission is making sure African countries benefit directly from this shift, including a path toward building our own inference infrastructure and providers on the continent.
